  •

Persons of any age and physical ability are able to practice aikido because it can be modified to conform to almost any physical condition or disability. Having said that, it must be understood that be it a young child, an older person or even a person in a wheelchair, it is the determination to overcome the obstacles and adversities that will determine your ability to practice this art. The Founder practiced until a few months before his death at the age of 86. Good ages to practice Aikido run from ages 5 to 70.

At the Shudokan School of Aikido, we offer classes for all ages. Check our link for the Class Calendar on this website to see the times and days.
