The classes are taught or supervised by Jorge Garcia, 5th degree black belt. Jorge has been in Aikido for 19 years and practiced continually as a student for his first 9 years. He has attended seminars in Aikido throughout the United States and was approved to teach by Shihan Hiroshi Kato, 8th degree black belt, who was a direct student of the founder of Aikido, Morihei Ueshiba. Garcia Sensei teaches at least one class every day of the week .
Joe Cavazos, holds a 4th degree black belt in Aikido. Joe teaches once or twice a week. Joe Sensei is also the regional leader of the South Texas - Mexico region of the Shudokan Aikido Association and as such, he leads Regional seminars for that group 3 times a year.
Debbie Chambers started Aikido in 1995 and trained until the year 2000. After a 10 year absence, she returned two years ago and has become the children's instructor. She trains 5 days a week. She is a first degree black belt.
